Growing together: GreerWalker expands into thriving Upstate market
GreerWalker LLP, a full-service certified public accounting firm, is pleased to announce its expansion into the thriving Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson business community. The firm, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., has opened a new office in the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Greenville.
GreerWalker’s major areas of focus – manufacturing and distribution, global business, real estate and construction – complement the needs of the growing Upstate region and its dynamic international business sector.
Like Greenville, GreerWalker understands the value of intelligent growth. “Since establishing the firm in 1984, we have grown organically from three individuals to over 100 associates and 13 partners,” said Charlie Greer, co-founding partner and Furman graduate. “Our Greenville office will help us continue to grow and evolve to meet our clients’ needs.”
Kevin Walker, co-founding partner, credits the firm’s success to its steadfast commitment to exemplary service and lifelong client relationships. That approach has helped GreerWalker thoughtfully advise and serve clients for more than 30 years.
In addition to transferring some key associates from Charlotte, GreerWalker has begun hiring local talent for its Greenville office. However, the firm already has roots in Greenville. Barry Leasure, partner, who has relocated to help establish the new office, has family ties to Greenville and graduated from Bob Jones University.
“Our expansion recognizes the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson metro area as a leading economic driver and confirms the firm’s commitment to servicing the area’s business needs,” said Leasure. “We are pleased to become part of another vibrant Carolina business community.”
The Greenville office, which is located at 15 South Main Street, Suite 800, will welcome its Upstate neighbors to a formal launch event later this year.
